Nancy Meyers films are always beautifully styled, so I was extremely excited to watch The Intern for some new interiors inspiration. Starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro, this movie is classic Meyers - you can watch it over and over and never get bored. I particularly loved Anne Hathaway's kitchen inside her family home - a Park Slope Brooklyn brownstone. It mixes industrial with rustic, making it modern yet homely. Jules (Hathaway) and Ben (De Niro) spark up an unlikely friendship as a result of a senior intern programme at Jules's company - online fashion store About The Fit. Definitely worth a watch:

The Good Wife is a legal and political drama series set in Chicago, which follows the life and career of Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies). The series kicked off in 2009 with Alicia's husband, Peter (Chris Noth), State's Attorney of Cook County Illinois, being involved in a sex and corruption scandal - and faces jail time. Alicia must now provide for her family, so returns to work as a litigator in a law firm. Now in its seventh and final series, I'm sure going to miss it - not just for the clever storylines but Alicia's seriously sophisticated Chicago apartment. No matter what her day's been like, the last thing she does is relax with a glass of red in her kitchen.

Here's a recap of Season 1 for all those who love it as much as I do (if you haven't watched it before and plan to, maybe give this a swerve as it gives a fair amount away!):

It's Complicated has to be my number one go-to film for its story and style. As with all Nancy Meyers films, the home sets are incredible - from the colour schemes and signature pieces to the little treasures that tell you more about her characters. Meryl Streep, as always, delivers an amazing performance as successful businesswoman, mother and divorcee - Jane Adler. After drunkenly reigniting the spark with her ex-husband - Jake (Alec Baldwin) - who happens to have married the woman he left her for after 20 years of marriage, Jane soon yo-yos between guilt and feeling like a loved-up teenager. The film unfolds into a love triangle involving architect Adam (Steve Martin), while Jane's three grown-up children play peace keepers. This film is perfect for all generations who are in need of a giggle (not to mention home decor inspiration):

John Lewis is a great place to start if you love this Hamptons-meets-Paris look. Here are some of my favourite pieces:

Diane Keaton plays dramatist Erica Barry who loves strolling along the beach collecting white pebbles for her Hampton home in between script writing. She adores all things French so styles her home by combining nautical accents with crisp white French classics. Everything's stylish and in order - until ultimate bachelor Harry (Jack Nicholson) turns up, has a heart attack in her home and is sofa-bound. It's a hilarious love story with amazing decor: a classic Nancy Meyers flick.

The soundtrack makes the best Sunday morning kitchen music.
Best enjoyed with a coffee and croissant.
